Financial Options
I am now offering a sliding scale in recognition of the difficult economic times many of us are facing. Insurance restrictions prohibit me from using that scale unless you are self-pay, however.
I accept most insurances, and will work with those who do not have or chose to not use insurance. For the most part, using your insurance saves you money and is a great way to pay for the work we do. Self-pay, however, protects your confidentiality, gives us the freedom to chose how your therapy is done, and for how long.
Fee Schedule
Initial Evaluation 75 minutes: $125.00
Individual psychotherapy 45-50 minutes: $100.00
Individual psychotherapy 25 minutes: $60.00
Couples/Family therapy 60 minutes: $110.00
Individual/Couples psychotherapy 75 minutes: $125.00
Relational and Trauma groups: $75.00
Substance Abuse group: $65.00
Telephone Psychotherapy: $25.00 per each 15 minutes
Insurance Billing: At this time, I accept most in-state insurances, including BCBS, MVP, CBA, Medicaid, and United Behavioral Health. Please discuss your insurance expectations before starting therapy. I am not in network with Cigna or Great West.
Payment policies
In order that I can focus on being the best possible therapist, I ask that you pay as agreed upon prior to each session, unless we have made other arrangments. I can accept cash and personal or business checks.
For high-deductible plans, please pay as you go, understanding that I will not receive any reimbursement from your carrier until your deductible is met. If you believe that you have met that amount, let me know.
All adjunct services that you request, such as letter writing, phone calls, meetings, billing summaries, and disability forms will be priced at $100.00 per hour. I may waive this for insignificant tasks, but please be prepared to pay at the time of service.
Any payment arrangments that involve insurance must be clarified and all terms agreed upon before therapy begins.
Missed appointments without notice are billed at the same rate as the full fee listed above. Appointments rescheduled giving at least 24 hour notice incur no fee. Reschedules/cancellation without 24 hour notice will be 50% of the full fee.
